Mission Statement

The purpose of MATSA is to provide an educational experience of the
highest caliber to Minnesota people that are involved in the prevention
and after effects of alcohol abuse and other drug use.  This is the
purpose of our yearly conference.

New and innovative ideas, experiences, and/or programs are provided by
a variety of speakers.  The focus is to explore legal, educational,
chemical dependency, drug/alcohol abuse and traffic safety issues.

MATSA is a non-profit organization and multi-agency partnership that  began in 1974 with DWI school instructors and chemical dependency professionals.  MATSA has since grown into an organization that includes law  enforcement, corrections professionals, and elected officials.  The conference offers networking possibilities through its broad spectrum of attendees.  It also explores new trends and the latest information and technologies within each field.  The MATSA conference is a great way to compliment your area of occupation within the related field.  CEU's, LADC and POST credits are offered, which makes attending this year's conference even more vital

2012 Conference dates:

April 25th -27th, 2012
Offering 16 POST/Continuing Education credits
